Outstanding performance in home cinema, thrilling in stereo operation – Spirit 11 convinces with high quality components and advanced technologies in every aspect of its construction. The tweeter is a 25mm silk dome in waveguide execution to retain maximum precision at highest SPL. The Mid/Bass drivers originate from our own laboratory and are perfectly customized for operation in the cabinet together with the tweeter. The dynamic range, which this combination delivers is second to none and reaches from the deepest bass to the finest heights. Dynamics and Transient Peaks are reproduced accurately and provide for those goose bump moments, both for Music and Movie enjoyment.
DRIVERS
The 25mm silk dome tweeter was customized for the Spirit-series and thus fits perfectly to the mid/bass drivers. Due to the waveguide technology, the dispersion pattern as well as the efficiency were optimized. The 6 1/2″ mid/bass drivers originate also from the XTZ development center and provide precision, even at highest SPL. These high class drivers maintain control even when stroking ultra long which provides a punchy and accurate bass.
SOUND TUNING
On the backside of the XTZ Spirit 11, there is a jumper located which allows to adjust the tweeter level to the prevailing room acoustics or your personal preference. Furthermore, it is possible to close the bassreflex ports on the backside with the attached plugs to change the basic characteristics of the speaker. For example, if both ports are closed, the speaker plays less deep in the bass which helps when the speaker has to be placed near a wall.
CABINET
The cabinet of the XTZ Spirit 11 is equipped with a 25mm strong front wall and 18mm strong side walls, both made from MDF. Together with the additional stiffeners, this solid construction adds up to the high weight and the massive impression of the speaker. To further minimize the already reduced internal resonances, a plentiful amount of damping material is brought in. So the XTZ Spirit 11 plays also deepest bass always with highest precision.
SURFACE
The applied multilayer paint is ornately polished and ensures an excellent quality impression. In matte black as well as matte white, the XTZ Spirit 11 definitely shows where the term “sound furniture” originates from. The classic, yet modern construction contributes to the splendid aesthetics of this magnificent speaker.
TERMINAL
The gold plated screw terminal guarantees an optimum lock for your speaker cables. Thus a safe connection and best signal transmission can be ensured. In addition the terminal contains the jumper for the adjustment of the tweeter.
FRONT COVER
The pluggable cover protects the drivers on the one hand from dust and on the other from possible damage. To ensure perfect sound transmisssion, the cover is sound transparent and does not have any influence on the sound of the speaker.
